Who is Making Connections Toowoomba?

Our Mission

We aim to help neurodivergent youth make connections with like-minded peers and build strategies so they can interact within their world with greater comfort, connectedness, and confidence... and have a whole lot of fun along the way!

A multi-disciplinary team

Our team of specialist educators, psychologists, and occupational therapists deliver services to  children, teens, young adults, and their support network.

Our team provides:

  • Group programs
  • Psychology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Caregiver training

A Neuroaffirming Practice

We work with people who identify as neurodivergent, including autistic youth, those with ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental variations.

We see neurodiversity as a natural and valuable part of human diversity and rejoice in the colour neurodiversity brings to our world.

When teaching strategies, our goal is never to 'change' or 'fix' our young people— because they’re not broken, they are whole.

No diagnosis? No NDIS? No Problem.

We proudly welcome families with or without NDIS funding. Our programs are built to be flexible, affordable, and accessible — because support shouldn’t be delayed or dependent on funding decisions.
