We are looking for an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualised, high-quality occupational therapy services to our Making Connections Toowoomba children, teens, and their caregivers. While it's not a mandatory requirement of the position, the right candidate may also have the opportunity to lead small group programs.

The successful applicants will begin in January 2024.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions that are child-centred and goal oriented.
· Work collaboratively with families, including providing parent coaching to caregivers.
· Collaborate with the young person’s key stakeholders to ensure the provision of holistic and coordinated care, where required.
· Complete progress reports and maintain accurate and timely documentation of service provision in compliance with NDIS guidelines and standards.
· Experienced candidates may have the opportunity to facilitate group programs.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
· Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy.
· Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
· At least five years’ experience in providing occupational therapy services to neurodivergent children and teens.
· Competent assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
· High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
· Professional indemnity insurance.
· Blue Card, National Police Check (criminal history check) and NDIS Worker Screener, or willingness to apply.
